Hi I'm Deondra! I am certified in Pranayama & Meditation, Hatha, Vinyasa, Hot Hatha, Hot Barre, Yoga Shred, and Prenatal Yoga. The styles I teach most often are Flow and Hatha. My classes will warm you up, get your heart beating fast and your muscles working at a deep core level building bone strength, while quieting the mind, reducing stress, and improving flexibility, balance, and breath control. Every body is different but everyone needs yoga. Everything is scalable and can be modified. I like to explain the why behind asanas so that we have an understanding of our current abilities and the goal which we are moving towards. Yoga is a lifelong practice and the more you do it the better it gets!I started practicing yoga in college, but I didn't get serious about it until I figured out for me, yoga is essential. Yoga helped my body recover and work better after all of the contact sports I have played. I was an athlete from pop warner cheerleading and drill team to collegiate soccer, through professional women's football and roller derby in my 30s, until I had a baby. I am a wife, mom, musician, a gatherer of people and community. I genuinely love connecting with other humans and can't wait to see you in class!
