Course Outcomes
By the end of this workshop, participants will:
Understand the foundations and philosophy of Himalayan Hatha Yoga and its traditional approach to integrated well-being.
Explore the relationship between asana, pranayama, breath, awareness, and physiological regulation.
Learn practical breathwork techniques to support emotional resilience, nervous system regulation, and mental clarity.
Understand and practice Ujjayi, Kumbhaka, Bandhas, Mudras, and Drishti.
Learn the principles of counterforce and counter-asana, including how they are used to balance and integrate a yoga practice.
Explore how yoga and breathwork may support the nervous, respiratory, digestive, endocrine, and cardiovascular systems.
Develop greater awareness of postural alignment, energetic balance, and mindful movement.
Learn accessible sequencing principles rooted in Yogi Ashokananda's tradition.
Gain practical tools that can be adapted for different bodies, abilities, and levels of experience.

Led by Renata
Renata, RYT 500 and Licensed Rehabilitation Therapist, brings together her experience in yoga, rehabilitation, and whole-body health. Her teaching integrates Himalayan Hatha and Prana Kriya Yoga with posture awareness, mindfulness, traditional yogic practices, and modern science.
No prior yoga or breathwork experience is required.
Mats are available for in-person participants.
