This immersive workshop explores the powerful intersection between ancient yogic practices and modern scientific understanding of the human body. Participants will gain a comprehensive view of how yoga and meditative breathing influence key physiological systems—such as the respiratory, digestive, endocrine, lymphatic, cardiovascular, and skeletal systems—while also supporting emotional regulation, trauma release, and nervous system balance.

 

Through engaging discussion and guided practice, we will:

Understand how yoga and breathing positively affect the entire body system.

Appreciate how yoga aligns with scientific principles, offering more than abstract spirituality.

Recognize yoga and breath techniques as effective tools for building strength, relieving stress, and restoring vitality.

Blending theory with practice, we’ll explore core yogic techniques such as Ujjayi breath, Bandhas, Mudras, Spinal Pranayama, and Drishti, emphasizing their physiological and psychological impacts. You’ll also learn how these techniques activate the parasympathetic nervous system, reduce inflammation, support hormonal balance, and aid in emotional healing—making yoga a holistic approach to well-being.

 

By the end of the session, participants will embody the teachings through a guided Himalayan Hatha Yoga practice that integrates gentle movement, breath awareness, and mindfulness.

Whether you’re new to yoga or a seasoned practitioner, this workshop offers a grounded, science-informed approach to using yoga as a tool for deep healing and systemic health.
